Hi guys, here is the 1st squad, 2nd company of the Blood angels, nearly finished, a question, my next 15mm 40K army will be Tyranids, the most iconic colour scheme for geansteelers is blue/purple but I am not to keen on that colour, what is the next most recognizable colour? will use this on the nid on the base as a tester, so what do you think? I'm pretty happy with them.
Those turned out really well. I wasn't sure before they were painted, but man, really a success. Now we just need someone to cast them...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on those. Excellent conversions and great paintjobs.
ReplyDeleteThanks but these will never be cast up for distribution.
ReplyDeleteIncredible work, they don't look like someones conversions made to look like space marines, they look just like designed and cast spacemarines. if that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteThe best 15mm non-SM I've ever seen :)
ReplyDeleteI will try to convert some pre-heresy marines. Now I will stay tuned for your stealers!
They look really good, best thing you can say about conversions is they don't look like conversions. They don't!!
ReplyDeleteIan
I love the OSL effect on the heavy plasma gun. Was that done with drybrushing, and do you have any tips to help achieve that finish?
ReplyDeleteAwesome love the effect on the plasma gunner
ReplyDeleteTyranids, green & white.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys
ReplyDeleteHi Jon - yes just white dry brushed over light blue.
Red and bone white for the tyranids
ReplyDeleteHi guys, I will go with bone/red.
ReplyDeletedamn, they really look like 28mm blood angels!
ReplyDeleteI painted some tyranids in my blog with some metallic effect.
