Khurasans 15mm Xenos

Hi guys, need some opinions, are these guys to blue? I'm going for the almost black but with a blue shimmer when the light hits look, these will be the blue hive of my Xenos horde, I have another hive the same size which will be red, they are only half done, need to do more work on the bases, paint the details like claws and teeth, then gloss coat, but I want the colour right before I gloss, for those that don't know, these are Khurasan's Space demons, they are the best 15mm minis I have seen, there as some great 15mm figures around, AB Napoleonics are my favourite, what makes these guys better? apart from the fact that Xenos are just cool, is they have separate heads, if you bend the tails and arms and attach the various heads at different angles you can make an endless number of poses, just brilliant, and the detail is awesome, they come in 3 sizes, small medium and the big suckers, they have a range of different heads, smooth, ribbed, and hammerhead, and the poses are dynamic, my first 10/10 score, well done Khurasan. These photo's were rushed, I'll take some better photo's when they are finished.

What do I do with these?

Hi Guys, found these Indiana Jones toys on sale for a couple bucks each, was going to use the tracked vehicle as 15mm APC and/or engineers vehicle, the dozer blade/spinning blades and shack like thing on the back are removable, I'm thinking they maybe to small for 15mm, maybe 6mm would be better, could it pass for a 1 man tracked vehicle? but why would I need a one? not sure what I will use the sled for, maybe civilian vehicle pressed into service?, or just as terrain? I am eyeing the jet engine part off for a VTOL conversion project, what do you think?

Post Apoc scale dilemma

Hi guys, I love the PA genre and have wanted to start a project for a long time, my best work is with 15mm so thats what I am collecting, I bought a heap of Khurasans PA figs (very nice to) and a shed load of vehicles, and I need some help with a scale dilemma, I do prefer to have everything in scale, I have both Matchbox/hotwheels and cheap Chinese cars, the Hotwheels cars are great and will make excellent PA road warrior cars but they are over scale, the Chinese cars are, well crap really, but they are more to scale, (they were 1/4 of the price to) I have some conversion skills, so do I convert the hotwheels into something over scale but which will look great or convert the Chinese crap into something workable but in scale? Or do I mix the to, maybe in differant factions? I will be using the trucks etc anyway as they are not bad and will look good when finished, I have added some scale picts, what do you think?

Chinese crap (the trucks are OK)

walkers for my 15mm GZG NI based force

Hi guys, these are the walkers I have converted for my 15mm GZG NI based force, I may add some more detail yet but they are basically done, they will be painted a reddish/brown 4 tone cammo, the main body is the medium mech from the EM4 Mech set, the grey and green plastic bits are from the evil empire GW, guns are the heavy weapons from the EM4 space trooper (not sure of their real name) set, the rest is green stuff and scratch built, let me know what you think.

Colonial Marine officer and NCOs

Hi guys, some photos of an officer and some NCOs for my colonial marines, I was going to cammo the armour but at 15mm I think it just got messy and confused so I decided on the plain green, I will post picts of more infantry in a couple of days.

Prince Hector and retinue

Hi guys, here is the next set in the Trojan war project, 2 poses of Prince Hector, 2 retinue and a chariot driver, I have gone for lighter/brighter colours for the Trojans, being a prince I decided to use purple for Hector, I'm fairly happy with his look, the Hector figure is actually quite a nice sculpt.
