1/72 Hafling army

Hi guys

Firstly these will be converted, repainted and based, please read on.

So I succumbed to the long fought off temptation to start a 1/72 Fantasy project, I need another project like a hole in the head (I have 28mm Fantasy and a very large 15mm Fantasy collection already) but I just love converting, and the conversion possibilities in the 1/72 plastic ranges are just to good to pass up.
Having limited funds, I will keep this project limited to small skirmish sized forces, so to start with I have ordered 3 boxes of Dark Alliance figs, (modern Amazon infantry, Cimmurian infantry and half orc infantry) 1 Caesar minis adventurers box, and a Caesar Greek hoplites box (I will do a separate post as to why hoplites later)
While waiting for these to arrive I went searching for figs I already own that could be pressganged into this project, and found some perfect halflings, these are 15mm Essex medieval figures, they are already sculpted a little chubby, so will work well, I will add some green stuff details (pot bellies, maybe bare feet if I have the skill) then re paint them, thinking of a green/yellow scheme, not sure how I should base these, I'm thinking that I would like to do this project with individual bases, but that I may do the halflings 4 to a base, with some characters individually based, the plastic German is there for scale, all thoughts/comments welcome.

28mm Offensive miniatures Paras

Hi guys

A batch of German and US Paras finished on commission, these are from offensive miniatures, the first time I have painted this companies figs, they are on the smaller end of the scale for 28mm, and wouldn't mix well with Warlord or Artizan, but would probably suit Perry's figs (though I have not seen Perry's WWII in the hand) just heard they are also on the smaller end, I like the US figs more than the Germans, they look more serious and realistic, but overall they are all OK.

28mm fantasy

Hi guys

Some mixed fantasy figs finished on commission, these were painted for Frostgrave, they were quite timely, as I have just succumbed to the temptation to start a 1/72nd scale fantasy project, and these got my creative juices flowing, which led me to discovering some excellent 1/72nd halflings (which I will do another post about after I finish this) this batch are being added to a collection I had painted for the owner earlier, all comments welcome.

15mm Bavarians finished

Merry Christmas Guys

Pics of my finished 15mm Bavarian commission, I'm very happy to have done these, I had planned on making these for myself, but would never have had the time to get around to it, so was chuffed when my friend wanted just this army, firstly the sun is very hot and bright here in eastern Australia today, so the pictures aren't the best, the figures look much better in the hand, the figures are AB, theres a fare few conversions, the Grenadier battalion are all head swaps, the skirmishers are mostly French converted to Bavarians for variety, the command is mostly converted from Austrians and the Limber is converted Austrian, flags are from fighting 15s, I'm pretty happy with how these turned out, I will get the customer to take pictures of them ones they are based, all comments welcome.
