Currently they have a cute 'smurf' look, at least fron the front...
I've always thought turquoise is quite a 'futuristic' colour, & as you don't see it on many other W40K armies, I think it suits the Tau really nicely.

15 mm 40k? That's news to me. Where did you find the figures? (One of my major gripes with 40k is that it makes no sense to have that many huge figures on a table at once, even though painting those awesome figures is a lot of fun).Nick blogs at Spotting Round.
