Soviet assault pioneers finished Part 1

 Hi guys

I’m not entirely happy with these guys, I’m happy with the bases, and the figure conversions but the camo came out a bit messy on the painting side, but these guys took a long time to complete and I am already thinking about my next project, so I’m calling them done, this is half of the completed force, I’ll do another post with the other half and some group shots in a couple of days. The next WWII project will be Soviet marines, however I want to do some 1/72 fantasy first. In this half I have the first section which I’m calling the brick wall section, their Gaz truck (3D printed) and various supports, the figures are converted Orion and Mars assault pioneers, and converted AB and Zvezda Soviet scouts.

1/72 Henschel 123A1 and some mixed 20mm figures

Finished this commission of mixed 20mm figures, British 1940 BEF infantry, a single stand of Germans, and a group of BAOR (British army of the Rhine) also the first plane I have finished to completion in 40 years, a German Henschel 123A1 dive bomber, it won’t win any aircraft modelling competitions, but it’s OK as a gaming piece, I have hoarded a good collection of planes for my own projects, but have been diligently avoiding them, but I think this will give me the inspiration to make a few.
