HaT 1/72 Swedish Napoleonic line infantry

Hi guys, I have a habit of starting huge projects that eventually falter and get dropped for newer more exciting ideas, this is part of one such project, I really wanted to make a miniature museum of Napoleonic uniforms, I first thought of using 54mm figures, and whilst they can be beautiful they are also expensive, I then had the idea of creating little dio's 6-8 men for foot or 4 men for mounted in 1/72 plastics, they are cheap and easily converted I wanted to depict as many different uniforms as possible, so to this end I started buying 1/72 Napoleonics, several years and many 1000s of figures later I have about 1/2 a dozen of these dio bases made, and have no idea if I will get any more done. This one depicts a Swedish line infantry Regt in 1813, the figures are from HaT, I would say they are at the poorer end of Hat's quality, and the plastic is horrible, a very smooth soft plastic that doesn't take paint well even for soft plastic, uniforms look accurate though, I'd give these 5.5/10 I have converted all of these figs in some way, head swaps, added slings and bayonets to muskets, arm and body swaps. I haven't added the flag yet.

Matchbox's 1/76 Sherman firefly VC

Hi guys, this is another one of my older kits, Matchbox's 1/76 Sherman firefly, made before Dragon came out with their excellent Firefly's, I had kept this kits since I was a kid, it was built and had a crappy paint job, shoved in a box until I took up modelling seriously, since I had originally glued it together with superglue it was easy (well sort off) to disassemble it and re build/paint it, had to add a lot of details to make it into a half decent kit, cammo net is gauze bandage and white glue. I wouldn't bother to use Matchbox's kit again, I would go straight to Dragons kit (have a couple in my stash already). Th Firefly is my favourite Allied tank, followed by the Churchill and Cromwell. For those who care I would only give the original kit a 6/10 but with care it can be made into a nice little model, pitty its 1/76 not 1/72.

Deathguard Terminator Champion

Hi guys, this is the apposing Terminator champion from my Deathguard army, the yellow stuff is Yamiya putty, one reason you should always wear a helmet, so no one steps on your face. I went for a very similar pose to the Emperors light Sergeant to extenuate the difference between human and what was once human.

DIY chapter "Emperors light" Termie Sergeant

Hi guys, a little Space marine action, this is Terminator Sergeant from an in progress DIY chapter of mine, "the Emperors light" as with all my Power armor figures he has been enlarged with spacers in his joints and waist, the bandage is made from green stuff, the coloured discs on his shin are campaign badges, I am also working on an opposing Nurgle army.
