First SAGA unit finished

Hi guys, this unit is almost done, shields are only blu tacked on, just a couple small details to paint.

    I love the shading effect you've managed with their chain mail. It's almost enough to tempt me away from Napoleonics (almost...!)

    Dan they look excellent. Love the hand painted shields with the slash marks. Are these guys knights (heathguard) or serjeants (warriors)?

    Hi SJ it will be a while, my mate that will game SAGA with me doesn't paint minis, so I will have to paint both forces.

    The five o'clock shadow of these figures is brilliant, so realistic and battle-hardened! I love Dark Age miniatures, and these remind me why!
