Colonial Marine APCs ready for paint
Hi guys, here are some Colonial Marine APCs ready for paint, 3 Grav, 2, 8 wheelers and 1, 4 wheeler, when finished I envision 4 of each and maybe a couple of experimental half track versions, I was going to load them up with stowage but decided on just a Halonet (a cam net that senses its surroundings and blends itself in, it also stops heat, electromagnetic waves and sound escaping) I decided on a smaller turret for the shorter wheel base vehicles, what do you think? any suggestion/ideas to improve them before I start painting?

All looking good Dan! Turrets look the business
ReplyDeleteVery nice! But...wouldn't those poles keep the turret from rotating? If those are radio aerials, you might consider replacing them with something more flimsy...and maybe a bit curved to imply flexibility.
ReplyDeletethe "poles" are radio antenna, I did replace them with wire on 2 vehicles, but didn't bother with the others.
ReplyDeleteThe poles are of course thin rotating radar or sensors within a protective sleeve.
ReplyDeleteGreat vehicles.
Cheers
Mark
The turrets look good and sufficiently different to the original.
