Hi guys, I've started the camo on these walkers, but I'm not sure of the colours, I don't think there are enough spots, these are pretty rough at the moments and will need touching up, are the colours a good combo? should I change any of the colours? more spots or leave it? these guys will be used with my GZG NI troops, all comments welcome.

colours are nice but I would suggest you put smaller spots of the colours inside the current colours a bit like german pea dot camo check out http://exilespainting.blogspot.com/2010/07/pea-dot-camo-easy-as-1-2-3.html

I think you need more spots, to take it from "polka-dotted" to "camouflaged." Also, the colors are pretty intense. I'd look for slightly toned-down versions of these, especially the yellow and orange, unless those colors feature prominently in your (presumably alien) terrain.
ReplyDeleteJust my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
agree with both of the previous posts, pea dot, more blotches, and duller colors.
ReplyDeleteYou might also want to consider how big these guys are. Would it make sense to have a two tone camo pattern, light on the bottom, dark on top like a fighter?
I like it a lot. The dark terracota and dots works for me.
